Things on Tuesday (or Wednesday as the case may be)

Things I loathe:

  1. pain
  2. dog hair on my pillow & blanket
  3. being kept waiting
  4. mean people
  5. the tv show Taboo
  6. dogs that are not housebroken
  7. feeling or looking frumpy
  8. ending a good book
  9. my ob/gyn of over 25 years retiring :(
  10. having bills and having to pay them

Things I love:

  1. Jesus
  2. my husband
  3. my children
  4. my faith
  5. my dogs (oh, if only they didn't shed so much!)
  6. a new haircut
  7. a hot shower
  8. new clothes
  9. being loved
  10. giving gifts
  11. a clean house (can someone come and clean for me?)
  12. singing in my car
  13. small acts of kindness
  14. good friends

Nice list. I lost my dentist last year. I still have a broken tooth!

I really shouldn't get on the computer until after the coffee is done. I could swear that #4 dislike thing said "mean poodle."

Definitely time to find a new dentist although I would think it would be a lot easier finding a new dentist than it would be to find a new gyn. I hope nothing breaks on me!

Oh yeah, we have lots of mean poodles around here but after that second cup of coffee they all turn into mean people.

You are right there. My GYN retired about 14 years ago and I still haven't found a new one. So far I haven't fallen apart! I did find a nice woman doctor in a family practice group that I go to for all the garden variety stuff. I made sure to pick out one that is almost young enough to be one of my kids!

Funny you should say that because I was thinking this afternoon that the next doctor I choose will have to be young enough to last the rest of my life.
Country By Design
It may sound weird, but I think it is very important. I watched two special people, my mom and my mother in law, both suffer at the end of their lives partly because the doctors who were taking care of them didn't know them at all.

Its unfortunate but the medical profession is not what it once was. Most doctors don't really know their patients these days. Unless of course you live in Walnut Grove. : )
